Crazy In Progress

I'm desperately trying to get my submission for the third Chainsaw Comics Anthology: Crazy finished. They've extended the deadline until December 1st, so I've got a little time. I'm doing an autobiographical account of my exploits climbing bridges with my friend after visiting the local bars in my home town. We did this often, and was the definition of crazy! Here are a few sketches from the work-in-progress. Hopefully I get it done in time!

Illustration Friday: Tail

As always, limited time has lead me to post a simple sketch for Illustration Friday: Tail. Pencil on printer paper.

Illustration Friday: Energy

A quick sketch colored in Inkscape for Illustration Friday's theme of "Energy"... if I had more time this would be watercolor.

Pumpkin Hunting

Here is Melissa trying to get a pumpkin up to the house to make a replacement pie for her mother (see earlier posts).

Stupid things I've said

I was not a very good student in high school, mostly because I was much more interested in art. When I finally decided to go to college, I had a lot of catching up to do in terms of vocabulary (and general book learning). This situation lead me to say a lot of stupid things, trying to sound cool and academic. Here is one such case...there are many more! In this case, it was during a conversation with my friend Bram while taking a walk in Orono, Maine.
